Build Your Future. Tell Your Strength.
The Agorà Hotel Academy Awards 2026 is a European-oriented initiative developed within the framework of the Agorà Circular Hospitality Academy model and aligned with the principles of Vocational Excellence promoted at EU level.
More than a competition, the Awards represent a structured learning experience embedded within students’ internship pathways in partner hotels across Italy.
A contribution to VET Excellence
The initiative supports the objectives of the future European VET Strategy by:
- promoting enterprise-integrated learning
- encouraging reflective practice within real working environments
- strengthening transversal competences such as resilience, communication and problem-solving
- fostering professional identity and responsibility
Through short video storytelling, students are invited to reflect on real-life professional challenges experienced during their internship and to transform them into structured learning outcomes.
Alignment with the Pact for Skills
The Agorà Hotel Academy Awards contributes to the goals of the Pact for Skills by:
- reinforcing skills development in the hospitality ecosystem
- enhancing mobility-ready competences
- encouraging digital communication and innovation
- supporting structured pathways from trainee to professional
The initiative promotes a culture of responsibility, initiative and meritocracy, in line with the European ambition to strengthen sectoral skills ecosystems.
Integrated within the Circular Hospitality Model
The Awards are embedded in the Agorà Circular Hospitality Academy pathway:
Student → Trainee → Worker → Mentor → Trainer → Ambassador
By encouraging reflection, communication and professional maturity during the internship phase, the Awards reinforce the transition from Trainee to Worker within a measurable and enterprise-validated competence progression model.
A European Learning Experience
In a context where vocational education must respond to digital transformation, mobility and sustainability challenges, the Agorà Hotel Academy Awards create a structured opportunity for students to:
- build professional resilience
- develop communication and digital storytelling skills
- strengthen cross-cultural awareness
- demonstrate leadership potential
More than a prize, the initiative represents a governance-based educational tool designed to support excellence, responsibility and long-term career development in the European hospitality sector.
