Project Objective

With the implementation of the project, we want to support the students’ acquisition of practical skills and enable them to develop professional experience. We offer different procedures in carrying out their profession and acquire skills in the field of gastronomy and hotel services, as well as in tourism management. Our goal is to  strengthen the students’ personal development in their approach to customers, as well as strengthen cooperation and create integrity within tourism services in EU countries. Additionally we want the students to acquire the skills and knowledge required in practice and thus increase the applicability on the European labour market. At the same time, the internship should also be a practical help in mastering the subject and its use in final and matriculation examinations.

We chose a short-term internship of 14 days because of the efficient use of financial resources and the time requirements of the target group. Pupils can adapt very quickly to a foreign environment, they practise during their studies in various institutions, so we believe that a 14-day internship will be sufficient to achieve the objectives.

The aim of the project is to improve the students’ social skills such as communication skills, acceptance of authority, independence in work, decision-making, responsibility for their work, performance and decision-making. At the same time, we want to improve intercultural perception and tolerance towards the peculiarities of another nation’s culture, acceptance of its customs and culture.
